Coffin House Coffee
Located at Hartsell Funeral Home, Coffin House Coffee is not your typical coffee shop. Dedicated to the history of the Hartsell family and their cultivation of family traditions, this local spot serves specialty coffee, smoothies, and fresh, locally made baked goods while encouraging guests to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
Hartsell Funeral Homes began in the 1860s when Jacob Hartsell, a local cabinet and coffin maker, began offering funeral services to his community in Midland, North Carolina. What started as a way to serve his community, has branched into several other methods in which the Hartsell family helps to “Celebrate Life.” This coffee shop is dedicated to Jacob Hartsell and his hard work cultivating a family tradition of service to others.
